Last week the European Parliament voted a resolution on the violation of freedom of expression and discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation in Lithuania. Yet many questions remained around this resolution, and the situation in Lithuania: are the laws, or proposed laws, really homophobic? Did the European Parliament have the right to adopt such a resolution?
To discuss these questions, we’ve invited Claude Moraes MEP (UK), co-author of the resolution, and Alexandra Thein MEP (Germany), who voted in favour of the resolution.
